MASALA DALIA VEGETABLE KICHADI

INGREDIENTS

  • Ghee                                                                            25 ml
  • Cumin Seeds                                                              5 gm
  • Green Chili                                                                 3 gm
  • Ginger                                                                         5 gm
  • Carrot (chopped)                                                      15 gm
  • White Onion (chopped)                                           25 gm       
  • French Beans                                                             15 gm
  • Turmeric Powder                                                      5 gm
  • Broken Wheat                                                            150 gm
  • Green Peas                                                                  15 gm
  • Tomato (chopped)                                                     15 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander (chopped) for garnish

METHOD

  • Take pot and add ghee and cumin seeds on medium flame.
  • Then add the vegetable and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the spices and mix well.
  • Add water and broken wheat to the mixture and cook till the wheat becomes soft.
  • To be served hot with ghee and jaggery. 
  • Garnished it with freshly chopped coriander.
